About Us

The COS Music Ministry is an international choir serving the English-speaking Roman Catholic Church of Our Saviour in The Hague. Established in July 2024 from the amalgamation of the various choirs, musical groups and instrumentalists that serve the parish, its vision is the creation of beautiful and uplifting music for liturgies and other events at the parish. The musical tradition at the Church of Our Saviour, The Hague dates back almost three decades and has been inspired by the various cultures and nationalities that make up the parish.

The mission of the COS Music Ministry is the performance of sacred music, drawing on a diverse tapestry of musical traditions, in an environment that fosters harmony, community and joy. The Ministry is made up of vocalists, instrumentalists and administrative volunteers. Membership is open to all parishioners with a love and passion for music. Non-parishioners are also welcome.

The COS Music Ministry provides music on Sundays at the morning Mass (10:00 am) and evening Mass (5:30 pm). It also provides music, as required, during weddings, special feast days or events, and funerals.

Music is a bridge that connects the divine with the hearts of the faithful. The COS Music Ministry stands with its arms open to all who are willing to help build this bridge with the talents bestowed on them by the divine.

Our Organist

Our chief organist offers their talent to enrich the liturgy through beautiful music. Our organist is often accompanied by other instrumentalists playing the piano, violin, cello, trumpet, trombone, flute, drums, timpani and a host of other instruments. Guest organists also support our liturgy once in a while.

Sacred music is a treasure of inestimable value, greater than that of any other art
